1.1. "Payment Service"

means the payment service We provide to You through Africa Bookings Consultancy. Our payment service will accept Your payment online by Debit or Credit Card (VISA/MASTERCARD/AMERICAN EXPRESS) or offline via a direct payment from Your bank account to our bank account using the international payment system SWIFT.

1.2. "Service User"

means any individual who makes a transaction through Our Payment Service.

1.3. "You, Your"

means the Service User who has made a transaction through Our Payment Service.

1.4. "Us, We, Our"

means Africa Bookings Consultancy (ABC), 3rd Floor, Ebene Esplanade, 24 Cybercity, Ebene, Mauritius

1.5. "Receiver"

means any company, institution or individual (e.g. hotel, safari company, transport company or ticket office) from whom You have purchased a service and You are making a transaction to, through Africa Bookings Consultancy.

1.6. "MCB"

means: THE MAURITIUS COMMERCIAL BANK LIMITED, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis, Mauritius.

2.1. Online Payments

Using our secure Virtual Payment Client system (using 128-bit SSL encryption) Your transaction details and the choice of currency You wish to pay in (GBP/USD/EUR) will be transferred to our processing bank MCB where Your credit card / debit card details will be entered and Your payment processed.

2.2. Offline Payments

Payments can be made internationally through our international US Dollar, Euro or British Pounds Accounts using the SWIFT method (See "Our Accounts" page on our website).

Please be sure to check with Receiver who the payment is for, that they are affiliated with Africa Bookings Consultancy. If they are not affiliated please ask them to get in touch with us through our contact details. If they are affiliated with us, you can proceed with your payment and you must inform them that you have made the payment into our account.

Always indicate clearly:

1. The amount of the transfer.
2. The currency used.
3. The name of the sender.
4. The bank which issued the transfer.
5. The reservation, transaction or invoice number given to you by the Receiver.

The Receiver You booked with will then claim the payment from our accounts department.

Please be advised that any bank charges involved with a payment transfer should be borne by the sender and any charges reflected towards our account will be deducted from the amount received.

Please CC our accounts department (accounts@africabookingsconsultancy.com) in the E-mail correspondence You have with the company who the payment is for.

3.1

ABC is not responsible for any disputes arising between You and the Receiver from whom You have purchased a service. Any such dispute should be addressed to the Receiver concerned. ABC are only responsible for Your payment processing.

3.2

ABC will endeavour to give a complete service at all times; however it shall not be liable to any person if it is unable to perform its obligations due to the failure of any machine, computer, telephone line or software, whether belonging to or licensed to or not, any industrial dispute or anything which ABC is outside the control of.

3.3

ABC will not be liable for any incidental, indirect, consequential or special damages of any kind, however arising from the use of this website, except in the circumstances of a dispute with Our payment processing via Our Payment Service (See 4 below).

3.4

ABC will not charge any additional commission, bookings or any other costs over the payable amount at any time. However in some cases Receivers may charge their clients commission, bookings or any other costs over the payable amount subject to their own internal payment conditions. ABC can not be liable in the event of Receivers charging commission, bookings or any other costs over the total payable amount.

4.1

Any payment disputes arising from Your use of Our Payment Service will be handled through our Dispute Resolution Procedure.

5.1

ABC, nor any of ABC's employees or affiliates, will divulge or disclose and shall hold in strict confidence any and all information supplied to them by You. ABC does not see Your credit card / debit card details and does not store a copy of them. Your credit card / debit card details are processed solely by MCB.

5.2

ABC only ask for details of Your name, email address and type and amount of transaction, for the purpose of administering Your payment for the Receiver and emailing You a transaction receipt.

5.3 Cookies

The ABC website places the name and email address as entered by You in the "Online Payment" page in the form of "cookies" stored on Your computer. These cookies will be overwritten and deleted after completion of the transaction.

5.4 SSL Security

Any information sent through our website or emails sent using our "Contact Us" page will be transferred to our server through a Secure SSL connection using a SSL Certificate. "Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is an international standard for encrypted network communication; it was conceived in 1994 by Netscape and is supported by all major international web browsers and servers. The use of an SSL certificate on a webpage is usually indicated by a padlock icon in web browsers but it can also be indicated by a green address bar". On our "Online Payment" and "Contact Us" pages, please verify that you are connected to Africa Bookings Consultancy by double-clicking the padlock icon at the bottom of your browser window or in the URL address bar.
